Peach Cobbler Doughnut Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce

Ingredients for Bread Pudding

3 cups heavy whipping cream
8 whole eggs
3 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 tablespoon bourbon
2 tablespoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons nutmeg
2 teaspoons ginger
6 large glazed doughnuts, torn into medium pieces
3 cans peaches, halved, drained
8 medium ramekins
2 ounces unsalted butter softened ( used to coat ramekins)
1 large roasting pan

Brown butter Topping

1 stick butter, unsalted
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2.Butter ramekins with 2 ounces softened butter.
    3. In a large bowl combine cream, eggs,brown sugar,maple syrup,vanilla,bourbon, cinnamon, nutmeg,and ginger and mix well to fully incorporate
    4. In a separate large bowl combine torn doughnuts and peaches
    5. Pour cream mixture over doughnuts and peaches and let sit until doughnuts have absorbed the cream mixture
    6. Melt one stick of butter over medium heat in a small pan just until it starts to brown about 2-3 minutes
    7. Remove butter from the heat can let cool completely
    8. In a small bowl combine brown butter, sugar, and cinnamon
    9. Fill ramekins with cobbler mixture
    10. Place filled ramekins in the roasting pan and and fill with enough water to come 1/4 of the way up the sides of the ramekins
    11. Cover the roasting pan with foil and place in the oven
    12. Bake the bread pudding for 25-30 minutes.
    13. Remove foil from the roasting pan and and liberally crumble brown butter topping on top of bread pudding
    14. Return cobblers to the oven and bake an additional 10 minutes
    15. Remove bread pudding from the oven and let cool for 30 minutes
    16. Take a small knife and run it around the inside of the ramekins to loosen the puddings
    17. Remove the puddings from the ramekins and place in a bowl, top with your ice-cream of choice and drizzle with caramel sauce

    Caramel Sauce:

    1 cup Brown Sugar
    1/2 stick unsalted butter
    1/2 cup heavy cream
    1 tablespoon vanilla
    Pinch Of Salt

    Method for Caramel Sauce:

    1. Combine all ingredients in a medium heavy bottom saucepan
    2. Cook over medium heat while whisking constantly
    3. Once the sauce has melted and been fully incorporated remove from the heat
